If it's movie-related rumors and news you're looking for, go take a look at Ain't It Cool News...The premier (and most reliable) rumor-site on the net.  This site is updated daily, sometimes twice daily if something special is going on, and has some of the most fantastic movie-related articles available.

Are you immensely tired of the Star Wars vs. Star Trek arguments that often seem to dominate science fiction discussions?  Go take a look at Star Wars: I Want YOU for the Galactic Empire! A hobby gone insane proves (scientifically) that Star Trek technology wouldn't stand much of a chance against Star Wars tech, and debunks a number of Star Trek and Star Wars technology rumors and myths.  It's also extremely funny, and has a wonderful ongoing fanfic to go with it.

Remember that wonderful Disney cartoon Gargoyles?  Remember how it was wonderfully animated, had half the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation (and Ed Asner) doing the voices of its characters, and dealt with hefty issues like crime and racism?  Remember how Disney cancelled it because it was drawing adults rather than children, and none of the merchandise was selling?  The people at The Gargoyles Fan Website do.  They called the creator, got his notes, his permission, and his help in going ahead and CONTINUING the story...On the internet.

Do you like "Weird Al" Yankovic?  Me too.  If you have no idea who he is, I feel sorry for you.  He is, quite simply, the finest parody artist in the world today.  Go to the store, find one of his greatest hits albums, sit back, and enjoy.  Then visit The Official "Weird Al" Yankovic Web Site for behind-the-scenes information, some really funny pictures of him and his band, and the latest news about his concert tour and new albums.
